Kaura local government area, the local government of Kaduna State deputy governor, Arc. Barnabas Bala Bantex, was on Sunday attacked by suspected Fulani herdsmen, killing a young man.
Friday, 17, was killed by suspected Fulani herdsmen during Church service in Tachira village of Fadan Attakar district in Kaura local government.
The house of the deceased was said to have been used by the herdsmen to keep their motorcycle while pasturing their cows.
It was allegedly gathered that when the Fulani men went to the house, they met only the decease alone in the house during Church service, killed him and dragged the corpse to a nearby bush.
It was gathered that after Church service the members of the family discovered that there was blood all over the house and when they followed it direction that they later saw the corpse in a nearby bush.
Villagers besieged the Divisional Police Headquarters demanding that a suspect should be release to them when they discovered he has been arrested.
Calls put across to the Divisional Police Officer went through but he did not responded up to the time of filing this report. The LG chairman could not be reach.
