The 24hour curfew imposed on three LGAs in Southern Kaduna have been reviewed. Details will be given later as the timing is yet to be ascertain. Everyone in Zangon Kataf, Kaura and Jema’a LGAs can go about their normal businesses.
Retailer, The Interim Management Committee Chairman of Jema’a Local Government Area of Kaduna State Hon. Bege Katuka, has said that the 24hour curfew that was relaxed on Sunday and Monday has resume fully today Tuesday 4th January,2017.
Katuka made the disclosure in a telephone interview with our correspondent.
According to him,” The state government has not reached a resolution yet and that might be after the sstate executive council meeting.”
Katuka said communities would be communicated to if a contrary action is taken.
“But for now, there is no any information of lifting the curfew,”Bege said.
Since the imposition of the curfew, in three local governments of Jema’a, Kaura and Zango, residents have celebrated their Christmas and New year amidst hunger as Banks, Market and other health centres are under lock and Key.
